Automatic Top Off Reservoir
One of the maintenance duties of owning an aquarium is tending to evaporation. Water evaporates on a consistently regular basis. The amount of evaporation will vary depending on the size of the aquarium and the exposure of the contained water to the surrounding open air. Larger aquariums have been known to lose as much as several gallons per day. In a marine aquarium the specific gravity, (Salt ratio) increases when evaporation occurs destabilizing the displays water quality. An ATO reservoir acts as a buffer by detecting and replenishing fresh water when your system reaches a pre-set water level. This can be extremely helpful when you skip a maintenance cycle because you may be away for a few days or just too busy.

Carbon Insert Packets
(Pre-Filter In Line)
Activated carbon is recommended for use in all marine, fresh and brackish aquariums. Using activated carbon will remove Tannins to clear up the water and Phenols that will diminish fish odor.
Aqua-Link 2110 pre-filters and built-in aquarium weirs are uniquely designed with a particulate filter tray that provides an area for carbon insert packets. Being installed inline is most beneficial because maximum water contact is achieved and it provides extremely easy accessibility without shutting down or interrupting the flow in the filter system.
Each 4”x 3.5” packet contains 2.5 ounces of Activated Bituminous Coal pellets.
These packets are to be placed inline on the particulate tray under the foam filter pad in the outside pre-filter box.

Polyether foam is utilized by Aqua-Link for 2 principle purposes:
- Mechanical filtration (to filter out medium thru large particulates)
- Bio Media – Is an excellent substrate to cultivate “Anaerobic” bacteria when submersed in a wet dry filter. The low pore count (20 PPI) provides 3 functional advantages that will accelerate Nitrobacterium growth:
- a. Provides an extremely large surface area for bacteria to attach.
- b. Dissipates and reduces excessive oxygen from entering the media.
- c. The compactness will accomplish its functional goal, occupying only a small portion of the filter unit.
Our standard sizes are cut in dimensions that accommodate the many common applications utilized in aquarium filtration equipment.
However custom sizes can be made upon request.

This Dual Micron filter sock Insert has been designed as an optional accessory to retrofit the Aqua-Link 2110-Long pre-filter. The dual leg design disperses water evenly and prevents the sock from blocking flow into the drain bulkhead.
The purpose is to enhance mechanical filtration before entering the biological wet dry chamber.
Filter socks are used for removing ultra fine particulates. Strategically installed in-line as a stage 3 filter after large particulates are filtered by the coarse mechanical filter pad so larger particulates do not clog the micron filter sock allowing longer intervals between sock cleaning maintenance.
Easily installs around existing mechanical filter pad support tray.
Quick, easy maintenance access allows installing or removing for cleaning without water flow interruption.

This shelf has a molded 180 degree bracket that allows it to hang on the outside or inside of any aquarium, wet dry filter, or sump with perimeters (up to 1-1/2" wide).
The HO bracket portion is pre-drilled to insert (2) included 2" x 5/16" nylon machine screws so the shelf can be leveled to any application.
The shelf portion contains (4) pre-drilled holes and includes (4) nylon 3/4" x 3/16" machine screws and wing nuts that allows our "Free Standing" VT-2560 venturi protein skimmer to be securely mounted converting it a hang-on model.
U-Tube Siphon
All Aqua-Link siphon U tubes are professionally manufactured in house. They are formed evenly with consistent uniformity to maintain strength integrity, and a clean appearance.
Manufactured to fit 1-1/2" wide pre-filter hanger brackets, in five standard, even, inside leg lengths, either 4”, 5”, 6”, 7", and 8". Available in two tube diameters, 7/8”id. x 1”od. or 1-1/8”id. x 1-1/4”od. All standard sizes are made clear and available in two types of materials; you can choose either acrylic, or break resistant polycarbonate.
